國際佛光會洛杉機協會第十二屆理事會議及會長選舉

國際佛光會洛杉磯協會於11月17日上午，於佛光山西來寺小會議室召開第十二屆理事會臨時會議。由選舉委員會主任委員陳居主持，會中成功選出新一屆協會會長及副會長。

本次會議先由選舉委員會推薦45位理事候選人，經過協會發出電子選票給1,665會員，投票率為51.83%, 選出三十一位理事，代表全體會員推選新的恊會會長及副會長。

理事蔡月琴眾望所歸，獲第十二屆理事會議全體推選，當選榮任第十二屆洛杉磯協會會長。理事王儷玲(晶晶)、理事劉憲章(Vincent)，理事許珍蓉，榮任為第十二屆洛杉磯協會副會長。

住持慧東法師開示，並對未來做出展望。他表示，新一屆幹部在繼承會務經驗的基礎上，也要重視傳承。希望以後在大家的努力下，洛杉磯恊會不僅能保持傳統，積極推動會務，更希望能與時俱進，有所創新，創造具有代表性的活動。

The BLIA Los Angeles Chapter held an interim meeting of its 12th Board of Directors on the morning of November 17 in the small conference room of Hsi Lai Temple. The meeting, chaired by Election Committee Chairperson Jim Chen, successfully elected the chapter’s new president and vice presidents.

The meeting began with the Election Committee nominating 45 candidates for the board. Electronic ballots were sent to 1,665 members, achieving a voter turnout of 51.83%. From this, 31 board members were elected to represent the membership in selecting the new chapter president and vice presidents.

Board member Echo Tsai was unanimously elected by the 12th Board of Directors to serve as President of the BLIA Los Angeles Chapter. Board members Jing Jing Wang, Vincent Liu, and Avelyn Busch were elected as Vice Presidents of the chapter.

Venerable Hui Dong delivered remarks, offering guidance and a vision for the future. He emphasized that the new leadership should build on the experience of their predecessors while valuing the importance of continuity. He expressed hope that, through collective efforts, the BLIA Los Angeles Chapter would not only preserve its traditions and actively promote its activities but also embrace innovation and create representative events that resonate with the times.
