白塔三分會 –  參加在家五戒菩薩戒戒會以戒為師依教奉行

【雪梨整理翻譯】7月12日到14日，佛光山西來寺傳授在家五戒菩薩戒會，分會有二位會員參加此次為期三天的戒會，其中會員龔國強是第一次受菩薩戒，會員Símon 喜夢是第三次複戒（菩薩戒），他們均表示戒會非常殊勝，無比感恩，感謝所有法師們的護持以及義工菩薩們的奉獻，同時照顧二百多位戒子，會場佈置莊嚴，食宿的安排井然有序，讓他們有這個機會培養正念和精神成長，並在日後生活中繼續受益於這些教法，努力持守戒律，一起共勉！

會員龔國強 –

「感動，殊勝！」我有幸能參加這次為期三天二夜的菩薩戒戒會實在是無上的福緣，何其有幸逢此殊勝因緣，得以圓滿菩薩戒正授， 我心中無比的感恩！

疫情三年之後，當得知今年西來寺有傳授「在家五戒菩薩戒」之後，我內心非常期盼，並告訴自己以一顆平常心來參加。戒會期間豐富多元的課程，讓我更瞭解「戒律」是在幫助我們，是佛陀要保護我們身心的安定和健康，戒不是約束，而是讓我更明白自己堅持的道理。

這次非常的幸福和幸運，因為能由佛光山宗長心保和尚為得戒和尚，泰華寺住持心定和尚為羯磨和尚，西來寺住持慧東法師為教授，依止和尚；同時我又和北美洲多個協會的200多位佛光人一起受戒，再加上有北美洲的其它道場的法師一起來護持戒會。

戒會期間的懺摩非常感人，自無始以來生生世世犯下的罪業在一聲聲「南無本師釋迦牟尼佛」聲中，我以最誠摯的慚愧心在佛前懺悔，讓我能以清淨的心去受戒。 在往後的日子裡，我會時時刻刻觀照自己的起心動念，收攝沉澱自己的心，一言一行，隨時記得懺悔。

在以清淨的身心納受戒體時，當心保和尚問「能持否？」，「能依教奉行否？」，我回以堅定的「能持！」，「能依教奉行！」中，發願修善，不忘初心，以戒為師。菩薩戒圓滿當天，輔導法師慧人法師的鼓勵和「恭喜你」，可見能夠受持菩薩戒真的是一種福報，我心中充滿感謝和喜悅。

三天的受戒是一時的，持戒卻是一生的。感恩大家有這個因緣聚在一起，感恩所有的法師們和義工菩薩們的護持，同時照顧二百多位戒子，會場佈置莊嚴，食宿的安排更是井然有序。未來持戒中，正如我在正授菩薩戒中所發的願，努力去實踐大師提倡的三好四給，把它帶到日常生活中，即使在逆境中也要回到初發心，隨時提醒自己、鼓勵自己，在修行路上繼續努力！

會員喜夢Símon Kuo –

What a truly amazing and uplifting moment kneeling alongside 200-plus preceptees as we all took our vows for the first time or renewed our commitment to them. The energy and enthusiasm that filled the Main Shrine were indescribable. As our voices got louder and louder, our resolve to diligently uphold these precepts grew stronger. It was a powerful moment that resonated throughout my entire being.

在受戒時，當我與 200 多位戒子一起跪下發願時，這真是令人驚歎和振奮的時刻，大殿內充滿了難以形容的力量，歡喜和感動。隨著我們的聲音越來越大，我們精進持戒的決心也越來越堅定，這是一個強有力的時刻，在我的整個生命中產生了共鳴。

Whenever Most Venerable Hsin Bao questioned our ability to uphold these vows, we responded with a resounding affirmation that matched the bells and drums that rang and roared throughout the Temple.

每當心保和尚問我們是否能持，我們都會以響亮的肯定來回應，與響徹寺院​​的鐘聲和鼓聲相匹配。

 I felt like the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma Protectors were all present to witness this auspicious moment. It was electrifying! This experience left me feeling invigorated, with a strong determination to carry out my vows to be diligent and liberate all beings!

我感覺諸佛菩薩、護法都在場見證這吉祥的時刻，太令人震撼了！這次的經歷讓我精神振奮，更加堅定了要繼續精進，行佛的決心！ 

Reflecting back on my first vows with Master Hsing Yun presiding over the ceremony, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of profound gratitude for all the good causes and conditions that made this year’s 2023 Five Precepts & Bodhisattva Precepts Retreat possible. I am so thankful that Master Hsing Yun has laid this foundation for all generations to benefit. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this community of like-minded individuals committed to upholding these precepts.

回想起我第一次的菩薩戒受戒，是由星雲大師主法。我非常感謝星雲大師為世世代代奠定了這個基礎，我不禁對所有的善因緣，使得今年2023年五戒菩薩戒得以順利進行，心中充滿了深深的感恩之情，我真的很幸運能夠成為其中一員。

I am thankful for all those who made this retreat possible, including Most Venerable Hsing Ting, Most Venerable Hsin Bao, Venerable Hui Dong, and all the venerable and volunteers who contributed to its smooth running.

我感謝為這次戒會得以順利圓滿的所有法師們，包括心定和尚、心保和尚、慧東法師，以及無私奉獻的義工菩薩們。

I’m very thankful for Master of Discipline, Venerable Hui Shiuan and the leading venerable for constantly being by our side, helping guide us throughout the course of the retreat.

我非常感謝糾察法師慧軒法師和各組的法師在戒會期間一直陪伴在我們身邊，幫助並指導我們。

Throughout the retreat, I had the opportunity to learn and relearn the core essence of the Precepts. The teachings from Venerable Hsing Ting and Venerable Yung Ku and Venerable Chueh Fan were enlightening.

在整個戒會期間，我有機會學習並重新學習戒律的核心精髓，心定和尚、永固法師、覺凡法師的開示非常有啟發性。

However, it was the class given by Most Venerable Hsin Bao that resonated with me the most. His focus on the importance of having direction in our lives and generating the bodhicitta left a profound impact. I felt empowered and determined to be more diligent in my practice after that session.

不過，最讓我有共鳴的，還是心保和尚的講座，他主要講了我們在生活中需建立目標方向的重要性，以及告訴我們發菩提心的重要性和深遠的影響。在這次講座課程之後，我感到自己被賦予了力量，並決心更加要勤奮精進學習。

Above all, this retreat has strengthened my faith. The whole experience, from the vow ceremony to the teachings, has deepened my connection to the practice. I am filled with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to live in accordance with the precepts. I am grateful for this opportunity to cultivate mindfulness and grow spiritually.

最重要的是，這次戒會增強了我的信念。整個三天的戒會過程，從發願儀式到教法，加深了我與修行的關係。我又重新充電，給予了我新的能量以及設定了新的目標和按照戒律生活的決心。我很感激有這個機會又一次培養正念和精神成長。

Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this retreat a success. Your dedication and support are truly appreciated. May we all continue to benefit from these teachings and strive to uphold the precepts in our daily lives.
