CBT登山先鋒小隊　兩人一犬探路「趣」 (CBT Mountaineering Vanguard Team: Two Humans and a Dog Venture into Fun!)

【羅蘭第一分會日訊 Pan Xiao Hsia 撰文】 03/09/2024 羅蘭第一分會將於3月17日舉辦三月爬山「趣」活動，在活動的前一週，會長潘青霞 (Ching)、會員李宏莉 (Bindruya)，以及李宏莉 (Bindruya) 的愛犬 「Taco」組成CBT登山先鋒小隊，前往探路。他們從西來寺出發，登上對面的山頂，遠眺西來寺的全景。整段行程陽光明媚，微風輕拂，遠處的山巒白雪皚皚，一清二楚。潘青霞和李宏莉一路上歡笑談天，分享彼此加入國際佛光會和學佛之路的心路歷程，並互相鼓勵。吉祥物秋田犬「Taco」對路邊的青草興致勃勃，除了嗅嗅聞聞，還毫不畏懼地踏入其中，大有探險「犬」之姿。潘青霞和李宏莉都表示感受到探路的趣味，並約定下次再一同登山。

03/09/2024— Rowland Heights Subchapter 1 will host its March hiking activity on March 17th. In the week leading up to the event, President Ching Pan, member Bindruya Lee, and Bindruya Lee’s dog, Taco, formed the CBT Mountaineering Vanguard Team to scout the route. They embarked from Hsi Lai Temple, climbed to the summit of the opposite mountain, and savored the panoramic view of Hsi Lai Temple. Throughout the journey, the weather was sunny, accompanied by a gentle breeze, with distant mountains capped in snow, all vividly clear. Ching Pan and Bindruya Lee shared laughter and conversation, exchanging their experiences of joining the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) and their journeys in Buddhism, while offering mutual encouragement. The team’s mascot, an Akita dog named Taco, enthusiastically explored the grass by the roadside, fearlessly delving into it, epitomizing the spirit of an adventurous “warrior.” Both Ching Pan and Bindruya Lee expressed their delight in the scouting expedition and pledged to hike together again in the future.
